What we think

Southern California is a long way from Nashville, but it feels lovingly reincarnated here. Guest rooms are adorned in a natural and neutral palette of calming woods, ecru natural fibers and supple leather, and even the “starter” room category feels plush and luxe, thanks to exposed wood beams overhead, rain showers, Nespresso machines and substantial 416-square-foot floor plans. For that SoCal indoorsy/outdoorsy lifestyle, we love the Terrace House Suite, which has its own lush gardens flanking its terrace. The Arbor House suite is a winner for anyone staying with friends, thanks to its separate living room and two and a half bathrooms within its 1,848-square-foot layout. Anyone focused on their personal health will love the spa treatments, which were dreamt up by Brit skincare icon Carole Bamford from her 1,500 acre estate in the Cotswolds.
